Inspired by the recent mixology from designers Dries Van Noten, Marc by Marc Jacobs and Marni, I've developed a bit of a thing for print on print.  The gorgeous juxtaposition of fabric and pattern in this Harpers Bazaar editorial alludes to a carefree throw-it-all on approach, yet the effect is perfect mix and match.

I'm a bit of a fan of Russh Magazine. Produced bi-monthly, I devour it in a day and then spend the next two months waiting in anticipation for the next edition to come out. With well curated content, you get the feeling they go above and beyond to uncover creative sources so often forgotten by the big fashion titles.

The colours in this Velvet Magazine editorial shoot are amazing. I would love to know more about them but the website is in Italian and I can't decipher a single word...

Jess Cameron from WIDEAWAKE thoughts

Weeks of organisation, meetings, sleepless nights and a few more wrinkles came together yesterday to form Westfield Chermside Project Be Styled, a challenge which saw the most promising young fashion students go head to head as they interpreted this season's key trends.
Demonstrating the astute savvy of seasoned fashion professionals, the QUT students amazed fashion journalists and bloggers with their styling, which reflected trends from extravagant 80s glamour to the clean minimalism of androgynous chic.
Over lunch at private dining suite SubUrbane, the challenge provided the opportunity for some networking with fellow bloggers and journalists. If you haven't already, check out Jess Cameron's blog at WIDEAWAKE thoughts, this girl is dynamite and is just so unbelievably talented it's unreal. I check her blog daily it is such inspiration. Also massive thanks to Sara at Harper and Harley Rachelle at Wandering Babcia and Jaharn at Vintage Lover it was fantastic to meet these talented girls.
