Travel stories.

When I was 23, I set off round the world. Just like the quote, I quit my job, bought a ticket, got a tan, fell in love and never really returned. Before I left, I read an article by someone recently home after a long trip. She said, "The feeling you get when the airplane leaves the tarmac is one you'll never stop chasing." At the time I was 23, arrogant and thought I knew better, so I didn't pay much attention. Five years later and she was right, I've never quite shaken the wanderlust.

This really hit home for me. I'm a senior in college and really want to be able to travel when I graduate. But I'm worried about finances. Any tips for how to fund such an adventure?

Hi Megan,

I worked three jobs when I graduated and saved as much as I could which meant moving back with my parents and literally spending nothing for seven months. Totally worth it though!

I think if I had to do it all over again I would have done the same. Just saved up and left to explore the world. Just to say I did it. I have traveled a lot, but not nearly as much as I want to. Beautiful photos.
