Sartorial-less

{Vest: American Apparel, skirt: Alberta Ferretti, jacket: vintage, shoes & bag: Zara}
Right as my trusty photographer Netty Devonshire and I were taking these photos, Scott Schuman of the Sartorialist happened to walk by. Needless to say, he didn't stop to photograph us (possibly overwhelmed by how stylish we both looked?) Anyhow, this Alberta Ferretti skirt is proving to be a summer favorite and I have to keep reminding myself it is not ok to wear it everyday of the week.

I love this skirt and how you left the shirt untucked. It gives the whole look a perfect easy summer feel.

Love the stripes with the flower vest! You could think of weaing the skirt everyday as a challenge...can you style it 365ways?

That skirt is perfect for summer! Sure, maybe everyday is too much, but every other seems reasonable, right? :)

Leaving the shirt un-tucked is so laid-back, yet the cropped jacket gives the look structure. Love the mixing of pattern!

I love this look. I probably would've been tempted to tuck in the top, but leaving it untucked actually gives it a nice, casual, summery look that I like a lot! Definitely picture worthy, regardless of what he though ;)

Okay so I adore that little vest of yours! Such an unexpected but lovely choice to pair the dainty strips and vest! Love loveee the shoes too!

Haha so funny! When I was in New York two years ago I was secretly hoping I would meet Scott and he would take a picture of me. Never happened! Anyway, in your case, it's his loss not yours :)

PS. Keep posting more often, I hate wating for your pictures and ideas for more than a week :)

Love that jacket! Such an adorable pattern. Wow, I don't quite know what I'd do if Scott Schumann walked by me haha. He was definitely too overwhelmed by your fab style :)

This is such a great summer look. The stripes go beautifully with the jacket's print. Love how you accessorized the look and I'm so jealous of your bag!
