Turquoise & yellow.

This yellow Jill Stuart dress is among one of my first sewing machine victims. Its wide kaftan shape was good for the beach only, so I tailored it slightly and wore to Vogue on Thursday, where I felt like I belonged on a cruise. In a nod to fall, everyone was beautifully chic in black and muted shades. I'm not sure if I'm ready to relinquish summer and colour just yet.

Yellow is such a hard color for me to wear but I love how you paired it with the turquoise here. They balance each other out perfectly. I've just started to work fall colors back into my wardrobe but I'm still clinging to my summer florals.
