Turquoise & yellow.

This yellow Jill Stuart dress is among one of my first sewing machine victims. Its wide kaftan shape was good for the beach only, so I tailored it slightly and wore to Vogue on Thursday, where I felt like I belonged on a cruise. In a nod to fall, everyone was beautifully chic in black and muted shades. I'm not sure if I'm ready to relinquish summer and colour just yet.

{Dress: Jill Stuart, bag: Brahmin, sandals: Zara, necklace: mix from flea markets, bracelets: c/o Alix and Ani}

I'm sure you stood out in a wonderful way :) I really admire the way that you wear whatever you want regardless of who might hate it or even if it may be inappropriate for an occasion!

Have a lovely week!
