Lately I've become rather obsessed with all things J Crew and in particular, Jenna Lyon's sense of style. Sometimes, as I attempt to cram my modest clothes collection into one small corner of my teeny apartment, I close my eyes and imagine what it might be like to own a gargantuan closet similar to hers, with chaise lounges and fireplaces and all sorts of closety-goodness. (Head over to my tumblr and you shall understand why) Anyway, this shirt was a vintage find but I like that it has a J Crew- feel.

I love the pairing of the red gingham top with the leopard belt. I have long dreamed for a big closet with lounge chairs and big mirrors and basically just enough space to fit all my clothes so they are not suffocating in there. You look amazing.

I am obsessed with Jenna Lyon as well and definitely feel your pain about the cramped closet space... I live in a studio apartment in Manhattan, not so much space hahaha

I could not agree more. I LOVE checkered shirts. I should try something like that. I usually wear mine with jeans for a laid back look, which I Love, even if I look like I'm going to chop wood out back haha! This look is so much more feminine. Love it. J.Crew can do no wrong in my book. LOVE her bag. Wowza.

I sometimes contemplate selling one of my children in order to take over their bedroom as my own personal dressing room. I would line the walls with jet rail, hang a giant chandelier in the middle with an oversized tufted ottoman underneath for slipping on Louboutins and Blahniks.
