Make a house a home
Sunday, September 26, 2010 Whilst I find Ikea market hall a world of fun, I just don't need any more innovatively shaped ice cube trays or tea lights. So rather than battling the rest of Manhattan for a Malm bed frame, this weekend we ventured to Brooklyn Flea in Fort Greene to find some cheap thrifty finds to help make our apartment look more like a home...

i so love these glasses, so cute !
hi lucy,
you're quite chic but if you're not careful, you can look rather sloppy and cheap at the same time...
@ Anonymous, I'd better be careful then hadn't I....
amazing glasses <3
such cute finds! i love that jewelry box. perfect! love the crates-as-drawers idea as well. it's a nice way to upcycle!
Those glasses are phenomenal!
Love Grace.
I love all of these finds -- Ikea can be fun for basics (like Gap or H$M is for clothes) but such unique and personal "vintage" touches have undoubtedly made your house a real home! Cute glasses too :)

I love those glasses in the first shot!
Love Grace.
