Project Be Styled

Look for a theme....
Mary, Luke,Ana, Lucy & Maxine

Jess Cameron from WIDEAWAKE thoughts

Weeks of organisation, meetings, sleepless nights and a few more wrinkles came together yesterday to form Westfield Chermside Project Be Styled, a challenge which saw the most promising young fashion students go head to head as they interpreted this season's key trends.
Demonstrating the astute savvy of seasoned fashion professionals, the QUT students amazed fashion journalists and bloggers with their styling, which reflected trends from extravagant 80s glamour to the clean minimalism of androgynous chic.
Over lunch at private dining suite SubUrbane, the challenge provided the opportunity for some networking with fellow bloggers and journalists. If you haven't already, check out Jess Cameron's blog at WIDEAWAKE thoughts, this girl is dynamite and is just so unbelievably talented it's unreal. I check her blog daily it is such inspiration. Also massive thanks to Sara at Harper and Harley Rachelle at Wandering Babcia and Jaharn at Vintage Lover it was fantastic to meet these talented girls.

Lady! Gosh it was so good meeting you yesterday! And a big thanks for having me and an even bigger thank you for the delish prawns!

So sorry I had to scoot off! How was the rest of the event?

If you have some spare time let's do coffee or even better a vino!

Great photos, and that sounds like a really interesting project! As someone who wants to be a designer when I'm older, I always like to hear about things such as this. Oh, and I really like the pictures here! I can certainly see a theme emerging there..
Thanks for the comment, and I agree- I love the english countryside!
