The S/S 10 & A/W 10/11 catwalks featured a whole lot of socks under shoes and despite hunting for the perfect pair, couldn't find any so destroyed a pair of beautiful cashmere knit tights instead. Anyway, the effect is still there, and I didn't get quite as many stares as I thought I might when I wore these out on Saturday morning.

I've always been intrigued by the idea of wearing socks with sandals or open toed shoes -- very Marni -- but I've never been able to bring myself to try it out. Looks cute on you though! Is it a special Saturday?
