{Dress: pinched from my mum, shoes: Ann Taylor, bag: Mulberry, shirt: H&M kids, bracelet: gift from Jessie, necklace: c/o Sheyna}
So, I am not a great subject. Ask my trusty photographers and they will tell you in many pictures I have either my eyes shut (see above) or I'm trying to work an incredibly unflattering pose.
Still, what's nice about these pictures is the dress. It was made by my mum sometime in the 70s and when I was old enough to stop wearing Kurt Cobain t-shirts and actually appreciate clothes, I made it mine. Thanks mum!

Ms.Lucy you are so cute!!! This dress and cuff are wonderful combo. LOVE this outfit.

How great that you can wear the dress your mother made back then. I have been so sad when I discovered that my mother threw out all her dresses from when she was younger. I loved them, they were so beautiful! So sad..

LOVE this dress! Love the whole look!!!

I remember your Mum making that dress. We found this small material shop in Northfield Birmingham that started to sell sari fabric by the yard (not common as it is now) and we brought several colour ways of it and made skirts and simple tops out of it that summer. It still looks goood. Linda
