Lazy Saturday

On the way past the markets we passed a community garden planted with fruit and vegetables. I was with my friend who is also English and we were amazed how well everything grew there; in England it would have been absolutely flattened by chavs a long time ago.

After the markets we walked to GoMA to look at the Asia Pac Triennial which amongst a stuffed reindeer covered in glass bubbles (quite the highlight) there was this wall of pictures by four artists from Sri Lanka.

Friday afternoon inspiration

I took these photos of the Guggenheim in the summer when it was hot and gorgeous and dusty, and we spent hours walking in Central Park just being.
